Gridly Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Gridly ("the app") is published by Cressu OÜ ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with data.
What we collect
- Nothing on our own servers. Gridly has no account system and no backend. Your puzzle progress, streaks, stats and settings are stored only on your device.
- Optional puzzle downloads. The app may fetch a small JSON file describing the day's puzzles from a content delivery network. That request contains no personal data beyond what any web request includes (your IP address, handled by the CDN provider and not stored by us).
Third-party services
- Advertising (Google AdMob). The free version shows optional rewarded ads and occasional interstitials. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's privacy policy. On iOS you will be asked whether to allow tracking; if you decline, ads are non-personalised.
- Subscriptions (RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play). If you subscribe to Gridly Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipts to validate your entitlement. We never see your payment details.
- Notifications. Daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server.
Children
Gridly is a general-audience puzzle app and is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices
- Disable ads and tracking by subscribing to Pro, or by declining tracking permission on iOS / limiting ad personalisation on Android.
- Delete all data by uninstalling the app.
